As SOON as I put my clowns in my larger tank i noticed the female was progressively getting darker. In the smaller tank she was beginning to get too aggressive to the point of almost killing him. Is it possible she accepted him and is maturing and pairing with him? She still chases him a little and he shimmies to show her she's boss but they get along well now and shimmy together.

Okay great! So you think the chasing will stop? Its not bad but it's kinda persistent.

It can take a while she's stressing him to keep him from changing into a female It will continue until he matures a bit more. Give him a place to hide, a cave she cant fit into and try and see that he eats

Okay thank you for your help! He does have a spot she can't get :)
