How to take care of bad algae?

I have cotton candy algae I need to get rid of. I've heard some type of snails or slugs will eat it but I'm not sure what kinds. Need some help people!?

I have read the turbo snails will take care of it.

I am doing a 3 day black out to see how it does on algae lots of threads about it

Blackouts will make it disspear but it will just come back ....u got to many nutrients in the system pwc or a scrubber media it will go away

Yep trying to control it while fixing it, gonna also add more macro's and double up on gfo

Razor Blade will take any algae right off the glass.
