I want crystal clear water!

So i have a 250L clearseal cube with a sump. I have an aqua one 1400LPH skimmer, A good sized UV sterilizer. 2 powerheads, 25 kilo's of live rock.

I seem to have fine debris in my tank at all times. I have a filter sock but im not not which spec but i always have filter wool inside it to help collect crap!

I want to get crystal clear water but i dont know what to try?

Any suggestions???

Any chance they are micro bubbles from your skimmer?

I did think about that but looking closer it is slightly cloudy, debris is not consistent (you can see particles not bubbles), and i also noticed the return side of my sump has some debris in the bottom. I wonder if it is being 'stirred up'

Probably getting stirred. I used to get debris in my return section. I added a second sponge and it cleared it up.

What kind of sponge?

You can run some activated carbon to polish your water though I'm not a big fan it does work but needs replacing on a regular basis !

There is a filter sponge as part of the bubble trap between the return chamber and the rest of the sump.
