Should be plenty as long as you don't have heat issues. With a pendent, you normally don't. That is a lot of light for sure!

This will kill off my algae right.

What kind of algae? Algae is photosynthetic and may in fact grow faster under more light I would look into your water parameters for hints to why you're growing algae.
