Majestic Angelfish in Reef Tank???? Has it been done.

What do you think? I love this fish and would like to add it to my 140 reef

containing star polyps, brains, and various species of mushrooms.

I had one in my 150 several years ago and didn't have any issues. Any angel is risky in a reef, but a large angel like a navarchus is even riskier.

Ornamental Shrimp

Hey reefrunner,

Thanks again for the quick advice. Did they ever bother any of your ornamental shrimp, if you had any? I have two fire shrimp and was just wondering.

No the navarchus never bothered anything. At the time I was keeping a softy, LPS and SPS mixed reef. I never saw it bother any of my corals, fish or any inverts. I have seen a few pics of navarchus in others' reefs, but I'm not sure if I would ever tanke the risk again.
