PC Retrofit Question

Is the straight pin or box style more common. One is called a German bulb style I believe and the other is the cap or something kind. The german has four pins straight across and teh cap style has them in box formation. Which should I get?

i just ordered the square pin lights myself. it doesn't really matter. the straight pins are not as wide as the square pins. most stores carry both, but i seem it easier to get square lights by me. its up to you, same price.

What I have experenced is that 55/65W PC bulbs are fairly common with the straight pin configuration. The 96W bulbs seem to be fairly common with the box pin configuration.

Either will work fine as long as you match the endcap with the pin config. Most online stores will have both available. If you cant pick make sure you specify the pin config you need when you order.
