Propagation of macro algae.

Hello. I was wondering if anyone knew how to propagate dragons breath macro algae. I have a huge plant in my ninety gallon growing off of one stalk and was wintering if there was any way to take cuttings off the main plant and get them to grow. Thanks!

glue it to a rock yes it will spread over time don't get ahead of yourself as it grows fairly fast and remember to cut it back as it grows or it will take over

What does it connect itself to substrates to? Mine is growing off one of my rocks. It has a short "stalk."

They have hold fasts that may look like roots but only vascular plant have actual roots

Roots absorb nutrients...algae absorb from the water

harder to work with but don't see why not
working with liquid under water less likely to hold
working with gel under water will be more workable
