Red legged hermit culprit

My polyps keeps disappearing. And I see this red legged hermit crab around them all the time..... Do you think he is the culprit?

It's possible. How big is the hermit crab? There are a few species that get sold as "Red legged Hermit Crab" so it's hard to say just from that.
While most small hermits are pretty reef safe, crabs by nature are opportunistic feeders.
