Scott's Fairy Wrasse ...........Anyone have any experience with these? I looked on liveaquaria and wow they are so colorful... Just wondering.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I've owned 2, one thing to keep in mind is that they show you the super males in the pics on live aquaria and don't tell you that without a harem of females the males fairy wrasses will change to female over the course of a couple of months and with the sex change...the color goes with it. Female Scotts fairy wrasses are fairly pretty, but way drab compared to the male. So find some pics of the females and decide if you want one, cause unless you get several females with the male...all you'll end up with is a female. On the care notes, I found them very skittish for the first week, quarantine is pretty much a must with these fish, mine both began eating almost immediately and once acclimated were on the go all the time.
