Okay so basically I have a spare 2.5 gal and i dont know what to do with it. Tell me what you think would be cool. No ones ideas are dumb. Use your imagination. Thanks!

Shrimp, betta, dwarf frog, plants of course

What would I need for these and I think I'm leaning towards the dwarf frog or shrimp right now

well for shrimp you need plants. They make special shrimp substrate, how good that is I am not sure. For a frog I bet sand would be fine or eco-complete because of the plants. I don't have shrimp but I have heard they like marimo moss balls.

Do frogs need to be in schools

No but I think they get lonely so maybe 2. The frogs would eat the shrimp, so I wouldn't do both

I would go with the shrimp. Add a few plants and keep it simple.
