2.5gal filter?

I just got a 2.5 gallon tank for a few shrimp, is there any filter that would be good for this?

I'd do a DIY sponge filter for the tank. But there are some smaller size ones out there I have an elite mini filter I believe in my 2.5g

I made a DIY filter for my 2.5g betta tank from a small tabletop fountain pump I had sitting around. Maybe try a search on eBay?

That's pretty cool! I'll keep that in mind

I was thinking of making a mini sump out of another small tank thing I have and making a sponge filter and making a huge sponge on it since it'll be in the sump anyway. So I just need a small pump to get water in/out of the sump

Btw one of my shrimp is having babies right now I have it in a little tank by itself right now

I suppose you can try the Hydor Pico Evolution Mini Pump or the Marineland Mini-Jet 404 for a sump. I got the Mini-Jet 404 and it works great... practically silent operation and adjustable flow control.
