29 gallon stocking suggestions?

I have a 30 gallon peaceful tank and just bought a 29 gallon tank that I want to be semi-aggressive!

I'd like for some suggestions on what to put in it once its cycled.

I have a similar thread in the cichlids discussion but didn't get much!!!

Pearl gourami, opaline gourami, Bolivian ram, and yoyo loaches.

I have gourami in my 29 along with red glass barbs. You could try gold barbs or red glass barbs to go along with them. They are more active and, in my opinion, nice in contrast to the more relaxed gourami.

The barbs don't nip at the gourami?

I have 7 tiger barbs and 2 Kirbs in my 25 gallon with a few zebra danios

They all work well together.

Actually they don't, but always keep an eye out for any aggression. I even have tiger barbs. Keep in mind that tiger barbs will get bigger, and so will red glass barbs. They get 4 inches.I'll eventually move everything to a 60.
