29 gallon tank stocking

I want the tank to be featured around my neon tetras. What other schooling fish can I add. I have cory cats that will be added to the tank as well.

Not exactly a schooling fish but depending on space available I'd add a 1M/2F of cherry barbs. They're not terribly large, peaceful, and great color.

I would do:
10 neons (small waste producers)
6 cherries
6 Corydoras.

The above mentioned 10 neons, trio of cherries, and increase the number of cories, they like friends

I would add a school of 6-8 mosquito rasboras.
