55 gallon tank stocking

I I want to stock my 55 I was thinking I wanted bigger schooling fish and some rainbows gouramis maybe a ram or angel, I want to be mainly big fish maybe a medium sized schooler

How about a school of six Congo tetras ? They are a pretty fish and arent that small. I prefer black widow tetras but they are known to fin nip. They could go well with GBR or a non long finned fish. Then some Cories for the bottom!
