Hey, I have been looking around online for canister filters and right now I've narrowed it down to a sunsun 304b, an eheim 2217 or a Rena filstar xp4. I was wondering if anyone had experiences or opinions on these or other options! It would be supplemented with an aqua clear 70 HOB. But I would prefer to over filter than just filter enough. Thanks!

aquaclear 70 = 300 gal/hr
eheim 2717 = 208

Will circulate about 7 times per hour. Should be more than enough unless you have an Oscar Pig.

I would use a bigger aquaclear and a smaller eheim (to save money) but that's just me.

I have an XP2 and I love it, although it's the only canister I've had. Most folks seem to gravitate toward fluval, and going "all out" is the level eheim seems to be on.
