So one of my ten gallon tanks has a major algae problem. I currently have three otto cats in it, have been dosing with algae remover, cut it down to half light and scrubbing like there's no tomorrow. All to no avail. Any suggestions tips or tricks on how to stop the green menace?

You need to post a picture so proper identification on the algae can be made. And please stop dosing any chemicals to kill algae as they are often quite dangerous for livestock.

How long are you running your lights daily? What is your WC schedule and how much do you change out each time? What is your nitrate reading? What stock do you have?

For now only run lights 6 hours daily until the problem is corrected and algae is gone. Some types of algae can be spot treated but first we need to know what type of algae you have.
