For that size tank your only options are the smaller hitchhiker snails, brig snails, nerite snails, and algae eating shrimp. The brigs and nerites would be better suited to a larger aquarium. No algae eating snail or shrimp is going to completely clear up an algae issue, so you'll still probably need to use a little elbow grease to clean up the rest.
