Apple snail growth

Hey guys I have some golden apple snails that have grown to be quiet large and I put some in a friends tank with his gold fish and they haven't grown a bit is it because of the temprature difference or could it be because they do t get as much food as mine do

Probably a combination of a few things. Cooler water will slow growth and so will less food. More waste in the water like in a goldfish tank will also slow growth if water changes aren't sufficient.

Aw okay would it cause them to die or would they be okay

Cool water won't. Lack of food could. And poor water conditions will shorten their lifespan.

The water is good had a bit of green algae on the glass that's all I noticed don't know Params for it tho
