I have my 4 male 2 1/2 month old guppies that seem to be fighting with one another. Or staking claim on their territory. Is this possible? I'm getting ready to trandfer them to a 29 gallon tank tomorrow, with a divider for the female guppies. Nothing else wil me in the tank.

They are not territorial. Rather they're fighting for dominance for females. Get more females or get rid of the extra male(s) and you should be fine. What size tank?

Edit: never mind saw the 29 :)

Well I didn't plan on having unexpected fry 2 months ago, but I now have a total of 9 guppies that I've separated males and females. I have one very tiny super small guppy in my male tank that I cannot tell yet whether he is male or female yet, he doesnt seem to be growing. So unless he's a male, I don't see what the males are fightin over, you totally cannot tell what sex he is yet, even though he's the sibling of the other 4.
