Assassin snails

I got assassin snails I put 3 in a 29 gal and 6 in a 55 gal I saw them the day after I introduced them but since they have disappeared. Do they hide during the day? If they died I would see the shells but I can't find them.

They go into the substrate, you'll see them at lights on devouring their nights kill..

At first, my Assassin Snails were hard to find in the day, but as time went on, they started to go out more and more when my aquarium light was on. Your Assassin Snails might just be a little shy right now, but that should go away.
