Boesmani rainbow fish

I was thinking of getting a pair of boesmani rainbows fir 30 gallon community tank. What's your thoughts?

Rainbows are schooling fish. You will want at least five.

A 30g is too small for boesemani imho. Praecox would be an excellent choice instead. As stated previously, rainbows are schooling fish and need more than just a pair.

I agree with the previous posters. Boesmani Rainbows get to be 4-5 inches and are way too small for a 30 gallon.

I have 6 praecox in my 29g since December and so far they are doing great.
