Live plants? The geos will do what they do, move substrate. Mine constantly tore up live and fake plants. Also I had a syno (feather fin) that liked uprooting plants.

I would put the plants before put the fishs and wait for the plants to have great roots systems. I will go with heavy root system plants.

Ok I already have some 4 month or so old amazon swords, jungle val, Anubis, and weird stuff that grows fast
