initially or during a pwc? either way, I fill mine with ~78 degree water. During a pwc, you need to be certain to match the temp in the tank. Initially, it doesn't really matter, but the closer to the temp you're going to keep the tank, the better IMO

Fill it with warm water. There's no need to make your heaters do more work than they have to.

I agree with BigJim. Set your heater to the temperature you want, and let it go.

it doesnt matter unless you are worried about the heater going on. i always wc just from the hose.
