I have a platy who gave birth a couple of months ago, she seemed fine immediately after but then suffered with a prolapse. I was advised to add aquarium salt to my tank, I did but only a very small amount as I have loaches in my tank and I read that salt is bad for them. The salt seemed to help and the platy seemed to recover from the birth. Since then (for probably the last month) she very rarely swims in the tank and seems to eat very little. She hides under the filter or up next to the hatchery which has her one remaining fry inside. She doesn't even swim to steady herself but floats (as in the picture) her top fin is down pretty much all the time and I don't know what to do to help her! Any advice or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
