Do Rummynose have TEETH?

More of a bit of humor really, while I was taking some pics one of my aquarium I snapped this guy with his mouth wide open... kinda looks like those are teeth...

BTW: My false-rummynose were mislabeled and mixed with the real ones, not an intentional buy :s

He's king of the tank, lol! Does he chase the dwarf puffers?

One of my bettas used to bite me when I did water changes. It certainly didn't hurt but if I wasn't expecting it, it did startle me! It did feel like he had small teeth.
 
I think most characins (ie tetras) have teeth....don't forget piranhas are characins too! Not all fish have teeth, and many don't have teeth at the front of their jaws where we think they should be. Lots of fish have "teeth" in their throat, where they can crush their food up.

BTW my diamond tetra definitely has teeth. He looks like a little piranha up close!
