I bought a dwarf gourami and ever since I put him in the tank he has been sitting at the bottom of the tank, not moving. He will sometimes hug up next to a rock and he even once got stuck. and I had to move the rock. He isn't swimming at the top like he is supposed to and he looks quite tired.

Assuming your tank is cycled, one suggestion I can make is turn your lights off for 24 hours. Sometimes new fish need to get adjusted to their new house.

Google Dwarf Gourami Iridovirus. I guess it is very common with the excessive dwarf gourami breeding practices. This does not seem to be an issue with the non-dwarf gourami species.
