I bought some frozen mysis today.
I've heard of reefers soaking the food in garlic as it defrosts. Is there anything I should add to the mysis before feeding? Is garlic recommended? Or do most keepers just defrost and dump?

Thanks!

Defrost, rinse, dump. Additives are needed only in extreme cases where fish won't eat or the food needs to be medicated.

Thank you very much! I'm also unsure of how often to feed mysis. I would feed bloodworms as a treat, but not sure how mysis compare. I figure once or twice a week?

Once or twice a week for frozen (either variety) should be good.
