Good Shirmp To Start With?

Hi I'm getting rid of all the guppy in the 30 gallon tank and starting new with a shrimp tank. I saw alot of bamboos shrimp at petco and ghost shrimp. But the bamboo shrimp cost up to 7 dollar and is it worth it? I want to buy 2 a male and female and let nature take t course. Ghost shrimp is ok but not alot of color in them. Is there other shrimp that is colorful? That stand out

Bamboo Shrimp are not the easiest. Filter feeders. Not easy breeders. Room for 2 in your tank. 3 ? They need a perch near filter outflow. If they are picking at the gravel they are starving.

Try RCS if you want color. Small ? Yes. Active and pretty ? Yes. Easy breeders ? Yes. Read, research. Lots of info under Freshwater Inverts on here.
