Hair Algae Question

Other than looking bad, is hair algae bad for the tank/water?

Hair algae

I'ts not necessarily bad for the tank ,but it can quickly get out of hand especially if you have alot of lighting. It could also mean your water parameters are off a bit ,eg ammonia nitrates and phosphates I would check for all of these. Hair algae is not usually present in well cared for tanks!! Good Luck
