Hey all!

This upcoming weekend I'll be moving about 30 minutes away and I need some advice on how to safely transport my 4 fancy goldfish.

Thank you!

Place them in 2@ 5g buckets with tank water and transport like that.
1/2-3/4 full should be fine.
Empty tank and rinse the gravel sand.
Keep the filter moist and don't do anything with it all this week.
Fill tank with gravel and all new water/dechlorinate and let tank get to proper temp.
Start the filter.
Then acclimate the fish incase the water is notably different.
I would drip with airline to bucket from tank and dump water out of bucket back to 1/2 full a time or two...

Good luck on the move and I hope you have help with your tank!!!

Thanks so much!! This sounds easy enough. I do have help with the tank, thank goodness. Otherwise I don't know what I'd do. We're lucky enough to have the help of some friends.
