id livebearer

I got this from a teacher at my local highschool and did ask what kind it was. Was wondering cause i want to get a male i know its female

Looks like a platy. But hey it could also be a swordtail. Female platies and swordtails look identical really. Swordtails are a bit longer and more built up though. A better pic might help.
