Is this safe?

I just got done spray painting my tank hood/cover/trim with krylon fusion paint since thats safe right?
My question is I have had my aquarium gravel in our garage for about a year (in a bucket/not covered) and now that we are re-setting up our tank is it still safe to use? Would it be like contaminated or anything? Or would it be better just to buy new gravel?

What are you asking is safe to use? The gravel? If so then I would say just rinse it and the tank really well and No soap obviously.

I'd soak it in a 10:1 water/bleach solution, rinse well s e v e r a l times and let it air dry. Then rinse/soak in a solution of Prime or some other dechlor. Esp if it was never cleaned/rinsed when it came out of the tank before. Could be a lot of caked on nasties in the crevices.
