Cherry Barbs really like to swim so the 10g might be a bit restricting for them. I do think the Cories would appreciate moving not the 55, schools of Cory Cats are great (assuming they are the same type, if not, they will school by type). The little Rasb should be in the 55 so it has something to do. You might be OK just moving the Serpaes into the 10. Then again, if you think they are nippy, you are just putting different fish at risk and the fish in the 10g will have less places to run. Keep an eye on the 10g, because while trying to free up space in the 55g, it will be easy to overstock the 10g. If you take out 3 Cories and the Rasb, you will have four less fish, and the Serpaes might fit. Honestly though, I think you should try trading in the Serpaes for credit if you can if you think they are nippy. Smaller tanks are very likely to have water quality flucuations compared to a larger tank in non optimal conditions.
I have watched my Guppies try to mate with my Cherry Barbs repeatedly and not a single Guppy has been nipped so far. In my experience they are not nippers even when a little fish chases them around constantly.
