moving question revisited

As I posted earlier I am looking for info on moving stands (while switching houses). I had one more though which spurred a question... Can I combine or mix the water from all three of my tanks in order to transport it easier? I am not even sure this will be an issue though it may be easier. All three tanks house similar fish and are to the best of my knowledge disease free.

It sounds to me like that would be ok as long as all the water is the same. If one tank has softer water then something like that would probably set back any changes in the water for that tank. I do not alter the ph of my tanks so I would mix them and all would be ok. I would think if your tanks are of the same water then it should be ok.
