neons/cardinals schooling together?

I have 5 cardinal tetras and I would like to get about 10 more and about the same amount of green neons will they school together? This is more just a curiousity than anything else.

I guess I should note that green neons (Paracheirodon simulans) are an entirely different species than what most folks think of as neons (Paracheirodon innesi).

I have not kept the green neon, but based on experience with lots of tetra species I would guess that cardinals would school better with other cardinals than with green neons.

I was just wondering if the would. Now I just have to find the green neons, cardinals are easy . But those greens not so much!

I don't know if they will school, but in my case, my 7 blue neons are schooling with my 8 cardinalis.

I keep temperature at 25C°, so it's a bit cold for my cardis and a bit hot for my neons.
They look healthy but not one...
