I find the Neon Tetra to be a wonderful community fish:
1. They look great in a community tank
2. They are peaceful tank mates
3. They eat up the crumbs left by the bigger sloppy fish
4. They like to go in schools

#3 is one of my favorite attributes. Anyone have recommendations for other fish that fit this bill?

The only fish I have that schools well is the Harlequin Rasbora. They don't do a great job cleaning up after other fish's food misses as they don't go near the bottom and are mid hoverers.

Perhaps a ground cleanup crew would fit the bill, like Cories. They don't school in the same sense as Neons or Rasboras, but they group up together.

I'm trying out mystery snails for clean up. They're still in QT, but I plan to let them out soon.
