maybe i should have cheap filter lol just googled the fluval and its a bit pricey for me atm but looks great!

If your wallet will allow you I would definitely recommend a canister filter. My FX5 that I run on my 90 gallon costs me about $5 a year to run (not factoring in electric cost). I used to have a hang on back filter but I would go through the filter cartridges like crazy. Just my experience
