Overfed fish:one time only, should I be worried?

So, I dropped an extra algae wafer into the tank today because I think the cories are being outcompeted by my uber greedy platies.

Well... a little while later I notice my most greedy platy Big Mama is HUGE. I have never seen a belly so swollen! Needless to say I was shocked and removed all of the food left/did a water change.

Should I be worried during these one-time events? I underfeed my fish, so I'm a little worried about my platy. The fish will be fasted tomorrow for sure...

Nope. It happens. If you are concerned, feed the platy a cooked, shelled pea.

Haha fish can be so uncooperative sometimes.
I think it should be fine...i think some fishs stomachs can explode but I haven't had this happen. Just fast and hopefully you'll see the belly go down.

Id put in the wafer while the platies are being fed so they're distracted and hopefully full
