I have what many people consider pest snails in my Male Betta Tank, which reccently suffered through an extreme bout of Cyano.

There were a few Pest snails in there before, but once the Cyano hit full force they just sprank to life and began to devour it.

I know they were eating it because, not only did I see them eating it, but you could see all the streaks through the cyano where they mowed through it.

And now the tank is completly clean and Cyano free.

Its quite amazing really, Just thought I'd put that out there for everyone.

can't get a pic now.

Their the atypical hermaphroditic beige/brown snail that you usual get on plants.
