Red Cherry Shrimp in 1 gallon?

Can 5 Red Cherry Shrimp and 3 Malaysian Trumpet Snails live long lives with monday and friday 25% water changes? The tank has a under gravel filter, and Tetra Whisper 3i, would this filtration be too powerful? The heater is a hydor slim 7.5w.

Do MTS do fine in gravel?

For me the tank is a bit small. Might be ok if very stable room temperature.


Else I'd like 4 to 6 gallons better. Just my preference.


I have kept MTS in gravel ok. With snails I find you start with one and end up with a zillion 6 months later though imo.
