I have too much gravel in my aquarium. What is the best way to take some out? Can I just scoop it out?

Yep. You can just scoop it out with a cup and smooth the rest out and make it even again. Very simple

I use a plastic cup or Tupperware container and scoop it out a little at a time, because the more you disturb it the more it will make your water dirty as well as more stress on your fish

Normally, I take my my fish and pt them in a bucket so that I won't have to worry about making a tidal wave.

taking them out, causes way more stress IMO.
