Have two 55gal tanks that have been cycled for a while now, but for various reasons they have minimal occupants. I have one danio in one tank and two and a BN pleco in another. What I am considering doing is this:
1) move single danio in with the other two and then dosing ammonia to bring ul the natural BB level and then fully stocking it.
2) allow new inhabitants a few weeks of QT in that tank.
3) move the three danios and BN pleco to the stocked tank.
4) dosing second tank with ammonia to bring up the BB level then fully stocking it.
5) give them a few weeks of QT in that tank then move the two danios ad BN pleco back in.
Do you think this is a good plan? Yes no maybe or any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
