Separating a tank

This is sorta a continuation of my pictus JD problem form b4... I was wondering if I could split the tank down the middle with say a piece of glass until the pictus gets a bit bigger (couple months)

how would I do this? has anyone done it b4... my tank is a 25 gal

There are tank separators sold at LFS. Usually plastic and snap into place. I have used them before for various reasons.
However, I do not think the JD will leave the pictus cat alone in two months. My JD took down a fish three times his size. Please reconsider your choices of fish for this tank.

A word about those plastic dividers-they are very annoying and gather algae quickly. I also find that fish seem to find ways to go over the top or underneath the divider.
