here's the situation.

the two mystery snails in my 10 gal. have recently laid a large batch of eggs. considering that this is the first time, i'm going to let them go to see what happens. but, i don't really want millions of snails. i have a couple other tanks i could spread them around in.

my question is, i have a 40 gal. tank with two blood parrots and a weather loach. i know loaches love snails, so could i feed some of the baby snails to that tank? i'm mainly worried about the shells. i assume the loach is prepared for that, but would the parrots make a go at the snails? if so, would they be able to handle eating them?

TIA.

My angelfish would just pick and "suck" the snail out of the shell. I wouldn't worry about the parrots with the shells, most baby snail shells are fairly fragile anyways and I doubt they'd have issues eating them.
