Stocking of My Tank

Right now i have a 10 gal, stocked with 2 dwarf gourami's, 2 Serpae Tetra, 1 neon tetra, and what petco called a spotted catfish =), i was wondering if my tank is stocked okay and if i can fit any more neon tetra's in there or will i be overstocking it?

I wouldn't say that your tank is overstocked. The Serpae tetras and the Neon tetras need to be kept in a school of 6 or more. Two Dwarf gouramis should not be kept in a 10 gallon as they are territorial and might fight. The Spotted catfish could be a number of different species, look on http://planetcatfish.com/ and see if you can find a catfish that looks like the one you purchased. My advice would be to keep one of those species of tetra and up their school to 6-7 and keep only one Dwarf gourami.

You should see if they'll take back a gourami and the serpaes. Get 5-6 more neons if you can, the lone guy will be much happier.
If the catfish is this one, the tank is definitely too small for it :

Most catfish need to be in a small group too though!

If you could describe the colors, we can probably get closer to what you have...also, what does the dorsal fin look like?
