I have a 20 gallon tall
temp= 74-78F
lighting= 10 watt fluorescent on for about 9-10 hours a day
2 mechanical/chemical filters both large
i test the water with colored strips and everything is where it should be.
i just added a couple plants and driftwood to my already established tank. (fully cycled n lived in) And added 3 mollies about 3 days ago.
So 5 black skirt tetra, 3 mollies, 1 rainbow shark, and some ghost shrimp make up this community.

Now i find all this stringy whitish gray slime growing off the new driftwood, plants, and java moss. It has tiny white balls in it. I've been at this for awhile and never seen anything like it. I hope you guys can see the attached photos. It doesn't grow like any fungi i've seen, but its just as slimy.
Fish are fine, though i a have a rainbow shark and i'm a bit worried. If he tries to eat this will it hurt him? Could it be eggs of some kind? Snail eggs maybe?

Oh and it sprang up over night, literally.. :ermm:
Any idea what it is and how to handle it properly? Thanks!
