swordfish pregnant

How can I tell if my female swordfish is pregnant? Also how can I tell if she will drop babies?

She will slowly start to swell much like humans do, look for when her abdomen is looking square and it should only be a few days later when she drops

All female swordtail fish are pregnant!
Mark the day she gives birth(2 weeks about) and then it should be every 29 days aprox.
They don't even the need the male but 2 times a year!
He may not be the father though!
How long have you owned her?

I only had them for 3 weeks. I picked them up at a GCCA show the beginning of Nov.
