Veggies for tropicals

Besides zucchini and peas, what fruits or veggies are good for tropicals? Thanks.

my mob like lettuce ( stuff with darkish leaves like romaine) but it took a few attempts at putting it in the tank before they realized it was FOOD & now my barbs & red eye tetras love it - not to mention my algae eater who scoffs it v quickly. i blanche it first(pour boiling water over it for a few mins) & then peg it down somewhere with a rock. you need to take the leftovers out after a couple of days or you get disintegrated lettuce bits floating everywhere.

When it comes to veggie foods for fish, there are quite a few. I always think that if you feel your fish might like something, try it. They will or they wont.

These are some of the things i have tried over the years:

lettuce
cuccumber
peas
spinage
cabbage
stredded carrot
potatoes
apples
mango
banana
orange
grapes
and just recently Allivymar told me to try courgette (zucchini).

There are more but at the moment i cant remember.
