1. around 1"-1 1/2"
2. No
3. Yes, as the pleco gets older it will eat less algae and focus on the shrimp. There have been reports of the coexisting.
4. The females carries the eggs
5. Yes and no need to remove parents as the will be fine.
6. Yes

since nobody else has replied, i can tell you what im pretty sure of... (and mgamer can correct what is wrong and fill in the rest of them)...

1- not very big... an inch or so is the biggest i've ever seen one
2- never looked at night. i dont think so though
3- very doubtful, but possible if they're small enough. generally, plecos just go for dead fish, algae, and uneaten food
4- the stork
5- Seems like i've read they almost never breed in fw, mainly in bw
6- yes ( unless you're talking about something else, terminology can vary based on where you are on certain things... never heard a ghost shrimp called anything else other than a glass shrimp though)

btw, please ignore the response for number 4 ;)

edit... nevermind... looks like somebody beat me to it :)

1) as above, about an inch, maybe just slightly bigger but not by much
2) our's are active all the darn time
3) if it can fit in the mouth it's dinner
4) never seen our's breed but we have a crap load of females with eggs
5) we have them in a FW tank and a BW tank, no signs of babies
6) agreed with mfd and Lowryder. Only hear of them as ghost or glass

And a few things I've noticed with ours.
1) once mature, the males get a little bit of a reddish color while the females remain clearish
2) Don't get in their way during feeding. I've seen them snatch food from the larger fish.
3) They do like to jump
4) they love plants, logs and mosses
5) they love snails. Ours will rip chunks of live snail right out of it's shell.
