Looks like a really stressed German Blue ram.

I do not think its a german blue ram that doesnt sound right why does it look stress its esting fine and swimming fine

Its a geophagus cichlid I just found it on google the bag it came with had geo on it

Hukit is right, I knew the top dorsal fish didn't look right but the markings look like a stressed GBR would look like.

It's laying flat but you can see the flared end shape back towards the tail.

I would guess bolivian ram. Can you get better pics? It reminds me a little of my a. Thomasi I had but they aren't geo-related I don't think.

Hey I know this is an old thread but that looks just like what my geophagus brasiliensis looked like when he was young!

Definitely not a ram!
